• In-app interactions (e.g., which features are used, session length)
• Crash logs and basic diagnostics to improve stability and performance

Analytics Information

We may use privacy‑friendly analytics tools to understand how the App is used (for example, how often certain screens are opened) so that we can improve features and reliability.

We do not sell your personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• Generate summaries, tasks, subtasks, and answers based on your notes and tasks
• Schedule and deliver reminders and notifications

To maintain and improve the App

• Monitor performance, fix bugs, and optimize user experience

Any AI processing is used solely to provide App functionality and improve user experience.

Your notes, tasks, and reminders are stored in association with your account or device as needed to provide the App's features.

Technical logs and analytics data may be stored for a limited period necessary to analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the service.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

If you delete the App or your local data, some information stored on your device may be removed. Certain server‑side logs or backups may be retained for a limited time for security, legal, or operational reasons.

5. AI Processing & Third‑Party Models

SynapseAI uses AI services to power features such as summarization, task generation, and Q&A over your notes.

Your prompts and relevant content may be sent to secure AI processing services solely to generate the requested result.

We do not permit AI providers to use your prompts or content to train their models in a way that would identify you personally, to the extent we can control this through our technical and contractual arrangements.

We do not use AI to make fully automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

The exact providers and technical setup may change over time as we improve the service; we aim to select providers that follow strong security and privacy practices.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including:

• Using modern security practices for data in transit and at rest where applicable
• Limiting access to personal data to personnel and service providers who need it for operational reasons

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account (for example, using a strong device passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and keeping your operating system up to date).

• Uninstalling the App from your device
